BE at the Trend

Open during the school year, we offer a lovely range of pub-inspired healthy, handmade food for breakfast and lunch. We have comedy nights, open mic nights, and host not only private parties, but live local music and deejays. We have great Churchkey Brewing beers on tap, along with VQA wines and Grey County-produced cider. It’s a cozy and cool 1970s basement vibe, with lots of daylight from the huge windows. Anyone can stop in for a great fair trade organic cup of coffee or a panini sandwich and a bowl of hearty homemade soup, you don’t have to be Trent alumni! Visit BE at the Trend on Facebook

Daily freshly baked scones and muffins, coffee cakes and cookies.

Daily handmade soups, including Thai chicken with coconut milk and lime leaf, roasted butternut squash with butter and thyme,  leek and potato, or split pea with ham.

Classic local capon club with bacon and lettuce on ciabatta.
Ultimate Empire aged cheddar grilled cheese on local potato cheddar bread, panini-grilled.
